Why our Modified starch?

As a partner of KMC Denmark, we deliver high quality modified potato starches for every branch and every product of the Food Industry.

The potato starches have the biggest molecule (as size), compared with all known starches (corn, wheat etc), this leads to the biggest water absorbing and water binding capability.

When used in food production, the native starch show some limitations: retrogradation (synersys), decreasing of the viscosity at: low pH values, high temperatures of treatment or strong mechanical influences.

When we modify the starch, we can "tune" its characteristics, so to achieve the required results in almost all productions where the native starch is not applicable.
